Marty's Bosch E-Fuel kit converts the compatible OBS 7.3L Powerstroke from the original mechanical fuel-pump and fuel-bowl arrangement to an electric supply with external filtration and a regulated return. The Bosch 69136 pump supplies fuel, and the FueLab regulator controls pressure in the return system.
Why make the conversion?
- Address aging factory hardware: replaces the mechanical pump and valley fuel-bowl arrangement when rebuilding or upgrading the fuel supply.
- Support consistent fueling under load: gives the injectors a regulated fuel supply. Adequate fuel pressure becomes especially important when the engine is working hard or injector capacity has increased.
- Simplify service: external filter bases and mounting hardware move routine filter servicing into the new arrangement and reduce hardware in the engine valley.
