Description:

Improve your 7.3 Powerstroke engine's performance with the KC300x Stage 2 Gen 3 Turbo. This turbo features a 4" ported housing with drilled anti-surge for better flow, a completely redesigned Gen 3 7x7 SXE style compressor wheel with extended tip technology and with upgraded aero to aid in quick spool, and a SXE style turbine wheel with a thicker shaft inside of completely redesigned compressor and turbine housings.

The Gen 3 KC300x features a .91 AR Turbine housing and a 0.70 AR compressor cover. Originally a 1.0 AR cover, we changed it to a .70 AR cover with redesigned map groove, anti surge ring, volute shape and style with modern turbo technology. The turbine housing was previously available in .84 and 1.0ar; both are inefficient when compared to modern turbos. We took inspiration from the latest turbochargers in the market and applied their turbine housing design , flow path, volute shape, and material density to come up with our own 0.91AR turbine housing. This turbine housing was proven to spool up faster AND make more top end power when compared to either previous option.

The KC300x is a reliable journal bearing drop in turbo perfect for increasing your 7.3 Powerstroke's performance. This redesigned bearing housing and backing plate design to fit 200% LARGER thrust bearings and upgraded wider and taller journal bearings. Its upgraded steel thrust insert replaces the aluminum backing plate to keep expansion rates the same leading to more consistent turbocharger function. It's bearing housing has increase stability, backing plate stronger and cast into bearing housing integrated for improved rigidity reduces backing plate deflection and distortion under extreme heat and pressure

We spent years in R&D to bring the most drop in power to your truck! Not only does this new turbo design outperform anything else on the market, but it has also upgraded all weak points in the stock turbo, improving reliability at elevated HP levels.

So what size is the new KC 300x gen 3 stage 2?  We are not going to tell you,  but I will tell you this turbo will outperform any other drop in turbo on the market guaranteed.  This turbo is recommend from 205/30 to 238/80 injectors.  It will run fine on smaller sizes but we recommend our s1 turbo for 205/30 and smaller injectors.  If you really HAVE TO KNOW the size for some reason then give us a call and we can go over sizing options on the phone.

EXHAUST BRAKES:  We get asked a lot about exhaust brakes and if they work with our turbos.  We have found that some brands have clearance issues and might cause the brake to hinder performance, rub the turbine wheel, or cause other issues.  These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aide in braking.  This can be hard on a turbo and motor and is not recommended.  It will be up to the customer to verify fitment and functionality.

**These turbos come sand cast unless specifically requested. You can add a polished cover for an additional $250. Two week lead time on all polished covers**

**Our turbos are designed to fit directly in 7.3 equipped pick-up trucks. Although our turbos can drop into 7.3 equipped Vans, you will need to modify the turbo intake boot and down-pipe for proper fitment**

This turbo is designed to make the most of your power for your 7.3 powerstroke. If you have smaller injectors.
