The KC Jetfire is an upgraded variable-geometry turbo for owners who want stronger towing response and room for more power while keeping a practical daily-driving setup. It expands airflow beyond the factory turbo's limitations under sustained load and performance use.
How the Jetfire improves the combination
- Jetfire turbine and high-flow vane cage: designed to reduce exhaust drive pressure and improve vane response.
- Upgraded compressor wheel and ported cover: increase the turbo's airflow capability.
- Working-truck benefits: KC describes quicker spool, stronger midrange torque and lower exhaust gas temperatures under towing load, with additional top-end power potential.
Best for: a daily-driven tow truck or a performance build needing an airflow upgrade. It is also an opportunity to upgrade when replacing a failed factory turbo. Available power depends on fueling, calibration and the complete setup; there is no single horsepower gain for every truck.

KC Jetfire turbo for the listed 2020+ 6.7L Powerstroke applications, with cover-finish and whistling/non-whistling choices.
- Included: installation hardware, pedestal, filter and gasket.
- Not included: VGT solenoid. Account for this when planning the installation.
- High Output trucks: the installation requires changes to the factory compressor-cover coolant feed and return lines. Confirm the required arrangement before installation.
- Finish and sound: select both options and review the resulting product price. Check availability for a particular color if timing matters.
Questions before you order
Will it work with the stock calibration?
The product specification states that it can operate on the stock calibration. Results depend on the complete vehicle configuration; this listing does not include custom tuning.
Is the High Output installation identical to Standard Output?
No. The High Output coolant-line requirement above must be addressed. Tell us the model year and whether the truck is Standard Output or High Output if you need installation guidance.
Does the VGT solenoid come in the box?
No. This 2020+ listing excludes the VGT solenoid, even though the older 2011–2019 Jetfire listing includes one.
When will my order ship?
