DIESELSITE's high speed alloy billet steel flex plate's are made to overcome common cracks and fatigue breakage of the stock flex plates caused by high mileage and higher horsepower builds. Always be sure to check and inspect your flex plate if you are replacing your transmission.
New Dieselsite Chromoly flex plate bolts are included.
*FITMENT:
This unit is for 2011*-2019 6R140 with 6 studs.
*2011 year models were produced with an 8 stud torque convertor. It is advised to change your torque convertor to the later 6 stud as this flex plate will not work on the 2011 model with the 8 stud convertor.
2012-2019 year models were produced with 6 stud torque convertors.
TORQUE SPECS:
If using Ford Motorcraft bolts, the torque spec and sequence is as follows:
1st: torque all bolts to 44 in/lbs
2nd: torque all bolts to 48 ft/lbs
3rd: torque all bolts to a torque angle of 90 degrees
If using Dieselsite Chromoly Bolts that are included with the billet flexplate, the torque spec and sequence is as follows:
1st: torque all bolts to 44 in/lbs
2nd: torque all bolts to 48 ft/lbs
3rd: torque all bolts to 95 ft/lbs.
