The CP-Carrillo Cummins Pro-H Deckplate Connecting Rod Set With CARR Bolts are a must have for the engine builder who is assembling a 5.9L or 6.7L Cummins with a 1" longer deck plate. CP-Carrillo has offered prototype and custom connecting rods to virtually all aspects of the automotive aftermarket, especially to the high-performance gas and diesel manufacturing. CP-Carrillo uses a proprietary combination of chrome, vanadium, nickel, and moly alloy that meets all VAR (vacuum arc re-melt) ASTM manufacturing standards. This CP-Carrillo 6.4L Cummins Pro-H Deckplate Connecting Rod Set With CARR Bolts are manufactured from an oversized forging process that results in the proper grainflow as well as the elimination of any potential inclusions or surface risers made during the forging process. Each connecting rod is magnafluxed twice and Rockwell verified to validate the heat treat procedure. These rods are then sent through an extensive probing procedure with CNC machines to authenticate their dimensional integrity and are finalized with a shotpeen finish. Also included with this set of rods are CARR Multiphase Bolts as this rod set is meant for high horsepower or extreme race applications.
